The west tries to establish Democracies in the Islamic nations… which would look like the freedom to chose ones Islamic leader by vote. The religious Clerics presently perform that task and at the end of the day the Clerics would need to be at the core base of the government because of the nature of Islam.

More education is needed before trying to democratize the Eastern world.

It's like America pressuring Israel to trade land for peace. Islam wants the land and all the land, meaning no nation called Israel or there can be no peace because the presence of Israel and the occupation of Jerusalem by Israel in particular, discredits the Quran. Likewise Islam occupying Jerusalem is a discredit to the Torah. More education needed again on the part of world changing people, governments and nations.

People in America are far from God and for a President to seriously believe in God in a life changing way would be interpreted by the "called educated" to be weak minded and of lower intelligence.
That president would need to be impeccable and flawless in his performance to not fall under mocking and scorn for his belief stance.
